All my mind

I've been here for three weeks. Time is flying. This week is last week of my first session.It means that I have a lot of homework to do and study harder. Not only I want to upgrade level 7 but prove I really have improvement about my English ability. After final exam I will have four days vacation. I want to drive to farer place. Maybe LA, SF, Mexico etc.

I think here is too much fun to lost myself. Even I forget what is my purple to come to here.
Walking in the street, people sometimes give you a special look. I think just like foreighers walking in Taiwan's street. But America culture is really different to East culture. Like people who is you don't know
will say Hello to in the street or give you a smile. I think this is better than us.
To learn only one subject is really earier. Maybe my english have a lot of improvement. I hope so.
But conversation is still not good. I should continue working on it. Even everyday's homework make me mad.
But it's a good way to force me to study, so just do it. Maybe i will go to Korea someday haha.

Watching movies is a popular activity now. It is a good way to relax people's pressure. People laugh, cry, eat or sleep in theaters. I usually watch one or two movies with my parents on the weekend. We watch all kinds of movies. My father likes watching war films. My mother likes to watch sweet family films. I prefer to watch films which have very special themes. My favorite two movies are Big Fish and Little Miss Sunshine.
Many people perhaps haven't watched these two movies before. I will talk a little about their plot. Big Fish is talking about a father who likes to tell stories. He transforms his life experience into fantastic stories and tells his son. The other movie, Miss Little Sunshine, is talking about a family with six people. They are going to participate in a beauty contest called Little Miss Sunshine. On the way to the beauty contest, many things happened.
These two mivies have seveal similarities. Their principal subject is talking about family affection. The Big Fish is describing the relation between father and son. The Little Miss Sunshine is talking about a whole family. The other similar point is both families have many problems. After some events they solve their problems. In Big Fish, son doesn't like his father because he always overstates his experience. His stories are too amazing to make his son to believe. In Little Miss Sunshine every family member has their annoyance. The father's bussiness failed, grandfather takes drugs, uncle commits suicide, son doesn't want to speak for nine months, daughter has big belly.
Both movies are describing their journey. But the Big Fish is describing father's journey and the Little Miss Sunshine is describing whole family's journey. In their journey, Big Fish uses a lot of imagination and color, and make his stories very unusual and colorful. On the other hand, the Little Miss Sunshine doesn't use imagination. It seems that exerything is too real to believe on their trip. Big Fish is just like a fairy tale, contrasting with the real world: a circus troupe, a giant, a witch, a woman with two heads. The events that happened in Little Miss Sunshine are so normal just like you can read in the newspapers everyday. Like car accident, gay issue, beauby contest and divorce.

The movies I like have a common peculiarity which has some meaning. You get strong feeling in the end of movies. The shock is still in my mind when I was walking out of the theater. Good movies make me start thinking about some things. I like the stage dialogue which appear in the end of the Big Fish very much. "A man tells his stories so many times that he becomes the stories. They live on him. And in that wat, he becomes immortal." A immortal movie is really worth seeing again and again. If you haven't seen Big Fish and Little Miss Sunshine, I suggest that you can watch them. You will not dispoint.

Where is my gold?
Life is like digging in a gold mine. You never know when you can find gold. Maybe you pass the gold, but you find the other treasure. You may find diamond, oil, coal or gas. Diamond or oil is another kind of gold. There is not only one way to find out gold. And there are many kind of result. All I want to tell is that you have to find out your gold mine.
The gold mine of mine is my relations. It is include my family and friends. I was looking for where is my gold mine for a long time. In the end I found it just next to me. And it keeps company with me all the time. When I was in depression it helped me out of depression. I can share my cheer with the gold mine. I feel confidently because it support to me. That’s the gold I have.
Even I have found my gold mine. I am still looking for another gold mine of me. I know there are many things waiting for me to discover. I will create the other gold mine as well as I can.

San Diego is really a good place to live. Warm weather, just a few day rainy, friendly poeple, nice view of the sea and harbor.And accord to the other Taiwan's student saying that here is good to study, too. It's make me want to stay here for longer. After one week discovery. I get used to here more and more.
Last weekend we went to the sea world. I think there is not bad. Just a little bit for kids to enjoy. I have already to old to watch animal with exciting. And we went to Old Town. THere is good place for sightseeing and i'm not finish it. I will go there again.
Some east and west culture are really different in many way. It's can appear in talking, playing soccer, eating and so on. Luckyly i am not a very east world person. So i think that's ok for me. I miss my dog haha.

When lunch time coming. We always looking for good and cheap restaurant.
In the end, we often eat something expensive and not good. I think we should accept the truth that America is really high life level in price. One meal often costs $5 or more. Looking at the menu is full of English words i don't understand. So every meals in here are advanture. You never know what you order is.

It's first day in class. I'm level 6. In my class have 6 korea classmates.
I found people from korea is very more. 6/15 is wow. So i met some korea friends. I think they are pretty nice than i thought before.
I open a new account in here. It's so easy. I still have a little problem about time lag. It's easy make me fall sleep in my room.

I am really under the California's sunshine. San Diego's weather is very good.
Living in the single room is like back to college life. And america is very big.
Everyday is walk and walk. I meet some friedns from Taiwan. They are interesting.
Speak Chinese is very fun in here. It's pretty bad that here's computer can't read chinese.
Maybe i should take NB to here.
